So much going on so little time, what to do, what to focus on? Last night was Drinking Liberally Chicago's "War on Christmas." A solid gathering of socialists, commies and pinkos all focused on destroying Christmas and teh baby Jeebus. Nawwww. Actually it was a great time with light debate and friends enjoying many a Christmas ale. I must say, DL Chicago has turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It has opened up new doors and new friendships as well as honest debate. Weird considering I read about it on a blog and kind of just strolled in nonchalantly. Ain't life grand? Sorry for the late posting action, I decided to take today off for some much needed R & R. If you have the days off people, you gots to take them. Today marks one year and six months since the lady and I started dating. Pretty much amazing. She is the rock in my life and I couldn't be more grateful. She was one of the few to encourage me to find this outlet and start writing again. So yeah that's my mush for the day. How is the world? What's new? Who is raging and who deserves to be raged on? Hello world and universe. Yep I got sick after the lady got sick and so I am home sucking on Halls, watching god awful teevee and laying in bed. Well actually typing at this point, but bear with me I am under the weather and my head doesn't quite make sense. Yesterday I stayed home and in and the lady and I were together in our sickness. But we did watch "Away We Go" with John KarriwhatchafromtheOffice and Maya Rudolph. A pleasantly surprising film. So that is the one highlight I got...still sick, throat feels like it's being choked by "freedom fighters" and without further ado... Oh man was I in a mood last night. Poor Drinking Liberally folks were not expecting that much rage on a Tuesday night! I cannot apologize because there was ton to talk about; the possible cave on the public option, Van Jones, primaries in 2010 and how much North Dakota sucks barrs. Overall another successful night, remember every other Tuesday (not sure what that means) and maybe you will get a chance to hangout with the best folks in the Chi.
