Mayor Daley Won't Seek Re-Election

Mark me down as one of the "not surprised." I actually spoke with the in-laws about this and stated that after the failure of the Olympics bid, his wife's health and the overall stretch of minor meter issues, Daley of late has seemed subdued. I haven't seen the old fight in him. Here is hoping the "Fuck You I am Going to be Mayor, Damnit" campaign of Rahm Emanuel starts tomorrow. I for one am ready to go back to the good old days of Chicago politics. Horses. Heads. In. Beds. (h/t the ragetastic Tengrain)
