Quote of the Day

AFL-CIO president Eddie Vale:

"Labor isn't an arm of the Democratic Party,it exists to support working families. And that's what we said tonight, and that's what we're gong to keep saying."

I don't give much credit to anonymous quotes about "wasting $10 million", however this response sums up what every activist should be shouting this November. Fugg the Democratic Party. It isn't about them, it is about the people. Labor Unions at one point in time were more apt than corporations in getting the message out. To this day they play a pivotal role throughout the election cycles. Taking advantage of that or underestimating their abilities for the purpose of hippie punching is a dumbfounded mistake.
