9.7% and still not getting it. Snow is not the issue. People not having jobs is the issue. Maybe we can have more tax cut/credit fairies come along and help out big business?
And you just know I have to chime in on this. The next report should give us a clear barometer of what's really happening. If things continue to remain stagnant or diminish further then we have a real problem. If we see an increase, then we'll be okay even if it takes years to get back to where we were.
My sense is that once unemployment beging to significantly tick up it should create a positive feedback loop. More people getting jobs and more people feeling confident about keeping the jobs leading to spending, etc.
