Get Your Dunkin' Thursday

 The wine class was so much fun last night and we tasted some exciting wines. Always love discovering new wines to enjoy with pasta or gamier dishes. Ferrari Carano Siena is a lovely blend that leads with Sangiovese. I definitely recommend trying it out. The world is not yet burning, but we're getting there. I've been seeing more and more desperation. But nights like last night give me hope. There are still good wines and good people out there.

Trump is not happy with Boeing. The new Air Force One planes aren't ready. I hope they rush the process. 

News that will drive you to drink. 

New cuts are hurting farmers, especially Black farmers. 

Republicans want to cut Medicaid. This will hurt those with the least. Our neighbors. Our friends. Shameless. 

Being a foreign policy nerd is tough these days. We have handed Putin everything he wants. Backstabbed our allies. And who knows what's next? History will not be kind to the MAGA approach.

Ch ch Changes

I think this place needs a makeover or I might archive the whole thing. I post thoughts to Twitter mostly these days and haven't had any time to maintain this space with long-form writing as intended. The political world right now is a total shit show. Trump is a disaster. The Dems have an NFL roster running for president. Climate Change is going to crush the planet and we're busy yelling at each other while getting nothing done. And I keep getting this eery feeling a recession is headed our way...woohoo! In personal news, we just added another addition to the Chow family, a little girl, and I got Dad life to hone in on...two is a welcomed challenge. Any advice for two kid life, let me know!
