I'm starting this year with an inability to focus on anything but Skeleton Crew on Disney+. It's a charming show that reminds me of Goonies and Firefly, an awesome mashup of Star Wars. I don't know why Jude Law is so good in everything. I hate him for it. 

The media has learned nothing from Trump's last go around. They report every word, every senile decree like it's the truth or will happen. No, we're not taking Greenland and renaming the Gulf of Mexico. That's some Freedom Fries shit from back in the Bush years. Focus on what's happening in the background that will certainly be worse when Bannon and Miller are back in charge.

Ch ch Changes

I think this place needs a makeover or I might archive the whole thing. I post thoughts to Twitter mostly these days and haven't had any time to maintain this space with long-form writing as intended. The political world right now is a total shit show. Trump is a disaster. The Dems have an NFL roster running for president. Climate Change is going to crush the planet and we're busy yelling at each other while getting nothing done. And I keep getting this eery feeling a recession is headed our way...woohoo! In personal news, we just added another addition to the Chow family, a little girl, and I got Dad life to hone in on...two is a welcomed challenge. Any advice for two kid life, let me know! Get Your Dunkin' Thursday

It's Thursday that means we have a new American Idol and it's... it's Kris Allen? Guess America still hates the "flamboyant", I smell a Clay Aiken retread. I didn't watch much of this year because it really came down to Danny Gokey and Adam Lambert for me and once I heard Kris Allen was in the final it was over in my mind. America votes for the "more likable" guy . But you know what was cool? Adam Lambert singing Queen! You could see the guitar legend Brian May drooling over the Freddy Mercury-esque vocal runs. It was rocktastic. Regardless both will have decent careers and the pie on the face of my local paper for running story after story of Adam is rather funny. Both guys have promising careers, there is always room for another Jason Mraz and America needs a Freddy Mercury . Wow. Did I really just dedicate that much analysis to American Idol?
