Had a rockin weekend, seeing Dastardly at the Mint in LA and Central in Santa Monica. Both unique venues that were kind enough to host a Chicago band touring the West Coast. The band and I have mutual friends, plus they're pretty friggin sweet, so it made sense to see them rock out. You can check them out here on Tumblr and this thing called MySpace, what's Myspace? This weekend I also had the first meeting at my new place of employment. I'm excited to share with you all what it is once it gets started. Tentative date is Aug. 22. Nom!
