Get Your Dunkin Thursday

Insert your boot straps cliche here! The day of depression is over and it's time to get back to work. Progress didn't happen in two years at the speed some might have liked, but it doesn't mean we stop trying to achieve progress. Last night was a somber Laughing Liberally, but the comedians did try their best to lighten the mood one day removed from the infamous "shellacking." Alderman Joe Moore was interviewed and he reiterated that this has happened before in our history and progressives bounce back. The Democratic Party will bounce back and maybe one day our leaders will learn that the "center" isn't the answer. So what now? Get involved if you aren't already. MoveOn, Bold Progressives, ActBlue, ACLU,and Asian Pacific Americans for Progress to start. There are many out there who were grinding it out during the Bush years and aren't throwing in the towel. I don't hear a fat lady singing, do you? Don't forget the Trans-Atlantic Throwdown Episode 2 is now available!

Here are your highlights:

We're dealing with 7th graders...

Why isn't this man standing trial? Bush gave the order to waterboard

Blue Dogs a lesson to be learned

Ruh-roh. Alaska won't be settled for a while

WANT

Unemployment claims rise, signs of a still weak jobs market. While in a rarity Bonddad & New Deal Democrat weigh in post election. The FED makes a "Meh" and the agenda of the President isn't yet derailed if he doesn't want it to be...

Chow!
