Get Your Dunkin Friday

I said my pieces on teh Lebron last night on Twitter. I am over it now and still think he took the easy way out. Oh well. We move on. This weekend should be nice and chill. The lady had a whole week off and did all sorts of projects about the apartment. I walked in last night to a brand new paint color in the living area. Quite lovely. Insanity week three is almost done! I am not as fit as I would like, but the results are...dare I say...awesome. Last night the lady and I rewarded ourselves with some Chili Mac's margaritas while dishing with our close friends. All in all a splendid occasion, but man are we lightweights. Finally above is a video of Chicago's own Mike Palascak who debuted on Jay Leno last night. Mike was one of the first friendly comedians I met in Chicago and has shot up quick through the circuit. He has earned every bit of praise and opportunity in his career. If you like funny, watch it. If you don't then you are Un-Uhmerikan!

Here are your highlights:

Homemade Pretzels make my mouth water

Not a surprise the GOP is not serious about cutting Defense Spending

Small businesses still struggling, what they don't need the Tax Cut Fairy, what they do need CUSTOMERS!

Welcome back Minority Militant

Our nation is teh stupid. 55% think Obama is a socialist and we have truly fallen off the cliff if teh media loves Mama Grizzly.

Oscar Grant, A Victim of American Fear by Adam Serwer - the best outward look I have read about the Grant case . This nation is complicated, some say a melting pot, but for all of our diversity and leaps in social acceptance; fear is our greatest enemy. In the last 10 years or so it has consumed our rationale, the Grant case is sadly a product of it.

Chow!

Thank you for at least mentioning Oscar Grant on your blog. I'd like to say more, but I am too choked up about what happened. Just thank you.
