Get Your Dunkin Thursday



So as you can tell I changed my template and header for the blog. I think is my third one...maybe my fourth and I still not sold on the header I made up last night. I like it, but is it just me or does blogger blur jpegs? Oh well. Yesterday I was spent, why you might ask? USA WORLD CUP SOCCER!! That games was exhausting to watch and yes I watched it at work on Univision because I wasn't going to miss it. The finish by Donovan had to be one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. I wasn't the only one in the office jumping and screaming. It was a prime example of soccer at its finest. I know some people don't get it, but it undeniable provides at times a great build-up with exciting results. GO USA!! The lady and I are sore as all heck from Insanity and can't wait for a day off, but thus far the diet and exercise is all according to plan.

Ch ch Changes

I think this place needs a makeover or I might archive the whole thing. I post thoughts to Twitter mostly these days and haven't had any time to maintain this space with long-form writing as intended. The political world right now is a total shit show. Trump is a disaster. The Dems have an NFL roster running for president. Climate Change is going to crush the planet and we're busy yelling at each other while getting nothing done. And I keep getting this eery feeling a recession is headed our way...woohoo! In personal news, we just added another addition to the Chow family, a little girl, and I got Dad life to hone in on...two is a welcomed challenge. Any advice for two kid life, let me know! Get Your Dunkin' Thursday

It's Thursday that means we have a new American Idol and it's... it's Kris Allen? Guess America still hates the "flamboyant", I smell a Clay Aiken retread. I didn't watch much of this year because it really came down to Danny Gokey and Adam Lambert for me and once I heard Kris Allen was in the final it was over in my mind. America votes for the "more likable" guy . But you know what was cool? Adam Lambert singing Queen! You could see the guitar legend Brian May drooling over the Freddy Mercury-esque vocal runs. It was rocktastic. Regardless both will have decent careers and the pie on the face of my local paper for running story after story of Adam is rather funny. Both guys have promising careers, there is always room for another Jason Mraz and America needs a Freddy Mercury . Wow. Did I really just dedicate that much analysis to American Idol?
