Get Your Dunkin Thursday

So it is snowing and the job did not cancel work today. So I am here. So I am slightly depressed. Damn snow. If you are going to accumulate at least reach a foot that way I won't have to come into work! It is science. Snow a lot. More than Daley's army can handle and WAH-LA! Frank gets to chill with his lady inside a warm cozy apartment sipping red wine and eating fine cheeses. It's the Nation Title Game tonight for chrisss sake, man, it would have been perfect fuggin timing! Speaking of the Title Game I would like to see Alabama win, after watching Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram's life story, I think it would be great, plus who other than someone from Texas or some ESPN analyst loves Colt McCoy and the Longhorns?

Here are your highlights:

Tax Tea Party "taking it to the next level", perhaps not the best thing to say when you have right-fringe leaders with signs using the n-word

First Asian-American elected to Cambridge City Council

Chris Matthews aka Tweety sometimes gets his head banged up or something and actually asks tough questions and calls people out. His latest is a question we in the blogosphere have asked for some time, "what have the Republicans done for the United States in the last 20 years?" Turns out even a top Republican strategist has a "Very Short List."

If college football had a playoff system akin to the way college basketball works, I'd probably find it more interesting. I'd be curious to see how Boise State would do against either of these teams playing in the "championship".

I don't think we will ever know. The system is so messed up, but Boise State at least deserves a chance. They should no longer be considered mid major.
