 Charlie Kirk is dead. He was assassinated. It's a tragedy for his family and a reminder that political violence in this country is reaching a fever pitch. But I will not mourn a Nazi. I will not mourn an abhorrent, disgusting, anti-American man. He told us who he was, so we should remember him for who he was, a hatemonger. A scurge who rose to fame post-Limbaugh. No one, aside from his immediate family, should weep for him. He was a product of the worst parts of our political discourse and a right-wing nut. A pathological liar and a pedophile protector. Sadly, a new version of him will pop up, and my only hope is that the bad-faith actors on the Right learn something from this...I don't have hope they will.
