Wine Country Trip

Well, we're back and I must say our trip to the Santa Ynez Valley was beyond expectations. The scenery, people and wine made the experience one my lady and I will never forget. It was a much needed get away since we've now dived head first into wedding planning. Only 5 months away! We ended up kind of whimsically traveling around to different vineyards, most from recommendations from friends and locals, it was the way to go for us. By Friday night we didn't want to leave, we did, however come home with eight (the last pic) souvenirs ;) I think this is the start of a beautiful relationship with Santa Barbara wine country. Here are a few pics from the trip, hope you all had a great weekend!

A list of vineyards we visited:

Bridlewood Estate Winery
Rusack Winery
Rideau Vineyard
Lincourt Vineyards
Stolpman Vineyards

Chow!

Ahhh, you lucky bastard. It looks like fun. It's cold, rainy, and dreary here in the DC area....

Are you following the Anaheim Ducks? Bruce Boudreau is now the coach for them. I just heard that Ovechkin got 3 game suspension for charging in yesterday's game against Pittsburgh. I personally thought it should warrant one game because Ovie didn't hit the guy in the head or anything.

HA, thanks man. It was a great time and yes the weather turned out to be perfect.

I follow the Caps & Blackhawks a bit. Ovie has been off his game this year probably because he's so physical and they're reigning in on that type of play. He'll bounce back second half of the year, always does.

Go Caps!
