Get Your Dunkin Monday

(this old video makes me laugh)

It was a spectacular and fun filled birthday weekend for my lady. Friday we enjoyed sushi at one of our favorite/around the corner BYOB spots. Saturday we attended the Cubs game. WE HAD AMAZING SEATS! Thanks to the lady's pop we sat near the third base line and we were up and close when McLovin threw out the first pitch. Yeah that's right McLovin was there. (He had lady school girl giggly) During the 5th inning, my final birthday surprise came through, as the lady looked up and saw her name on the jumbotron. She flipped! I will admit it looked cool seeing her name at Wrigley, unfortunately since I was trying to keep it a secret I couldn't snap a picture all incognito. So if you are anyone you know has a pic of the 5th inning stretch jumbotron LET ME KNOW! We then finished the night with drinks and tapas at the famous Cafe Bar-Ba-Ba-Reeba. Delicious! Yesterday was rather chill, but I did treat her to three home cooked meals; my Mexican Scrambled Eggs, a salmon BLT with dill mayo and Spicy sweet Mexican drumsticks. Yes I rocked it Food Network style! All in all it was a successful birthday for my lady and that is all that matters.

QUOTE OF TEH YESTERDAY

Celebrating guns and domestic terrorism one stripe of liberty at a time

It was an interesting weekend of boxing. As Bute defended his title knocking Miranda out in three rounds. Pavlik was upset by Martinez, but the most shocking news has been the fall of Edwin Valero. Valero just yesterday was placed in jail for the suspected murder of his wife. After many battles in the ring, Valero's life out side of the ring included battles with drug addiction, rumors of domestic violence and a penchant for a wild lifestyle, Valero took his own life last night in his cell. It is a quick and unexpected ending to a champion's triumphant yet tumultuous life. Thoughts go out to his wife's family and his family as well.

Chow!
