Get Your Dunkin' Wednesday

The early fawning over war has begun. The media loves a good war with a clear bad guy. Maduro is a vessel for their bloodlust. We've seen this all before. The Trump administration has no plan, really. There are folks in his administration who have ideas or motivations, but historically, this is all going to fail. And the people of Venezuela will be left picking up the pieces. The Peace President strikes again.  Here are your highlights:  Oil, a dying fuel source , is all Trump cares about in Venezuela.  Protests in Iran. The death toll rises .  With the passing of Rep. Doug LaMalfa, the Republican majority shrinks. Could 2026 be a year Dems flip the House?  I really don't get Trump's obsession with Greenland , but now, Europe is on high alert.  Sad to see Walz take a step back. The MAGA scandal about daycares is weird . We can spend billions on a fake war, but we can't give billions to kids in need . Print that Dems.  I am Frank Chow, and I appr...

Get Your Dunkin' Tuesday

Five years ago. It should've ended five years ago . Trump attempted an insurrection; it failed, and he should be in jail...yet here we are. We all remember that day. It was on our TVs. An angry mob of right-wing vengeance. White rage. Yet here we are. I think the Biden administration's biggest mistake was not prosecuting Trump immediately. We were a democracy after all. Now, we are in an autocracy. Ruled by the worst of the worst. Did America die five years ago? I'm unsure.  Here are your highlights:  Misogyny as military policy.   Peace President still has a lot of work to do in Israel .  Stephen Miller is a grave threat to the world . Won't rule out taking Greenland.  Disappointing. Gov. Tim Walz will not seek reelection .  Sen. Mark Kelly vs. Pete Hegseth . Good luck, Pete. The more they go after Kelly, the more I think he could be a potential presidential candidate.  There is no plan for Venezuela . War crimes by Twitter are, after all, a bad...

Get Your Dunkin' Monday

I'm a little late today. Transitioning back to work after a couple of weeks off is difficult. The holiday was lovely, and our girls enjoyed time with their grandpa. Saturday, I woke up and knew something was wrong. My dad was glued to the TV, and the volume was only something grandparents could tolerate. Trump had done what we knew he would do: Venezuela. It felt like Iraq all over again. It still does. I'm not sure what 2026 has in store for us, but damn, what an awful way to start.  Here are your highlights:  All the World's a MAGA stage. CBS News RIP. It's really cool that RFK Jr. is the head of HHS. Flu cases rise .  Is Cuba next?   I get the feeling this is what Rubio wants, and every Senator who voted for his confirmation has blood on their hands.  The January 6th erasure needs to be studied. SNAP restrictions. Republicans love big government when it means hurting the poor .  I am Frank Chow, and I approve this message.
