 We received loud text messages around 11:30 pm last night. Sirens then went off, maybe 20 minutes later. A tornado touched down south of us and wiped out some structures.  This weekend is always tough for me. My mom passed away Memorial Day weekend. Or that's how I remember it. It was over 25 years ago, and yet I can still hear my grandmother cry in anguish.
