 And so it begins. The US Men's Soccer Team will go to battle on home turf in the World Cup. A day I was so looking forward to until, well, you know. I've long been a member of the American Outlaws, the US National Team supporters group. Every year, I get excited to see the squad, but this year has been difficult to cheer. Difficult to root for our team. Not now. It's mostly "meh", but I'm sure once the game starts, I'll get hyped. It's in my blood. Until then, I'm just hoping Trump doesn't make the tournament all about himself.
