The wife and I were invited to a large art expo this coming Wednesday. It's full of celebs, art and free booze. Then the wife is headed to Seattle and Phoenix for the first time on work, so that's sad for me since I can't go, but awesome for her. Yesterday I had a new head shot shoot with a very talented photographer.  I'm ecstatic about the end result and can't wait to get them out to my agents. Yes, I'll probably share them...eventually. All right like I said I'm still on Cloud Nine . The lady and I are overwhelmed by the amount of love and support we've received from family and friends. TODAY IS LEBRON DAY!! ALL HAIL THE KING!! ALL HAIL THE NBA CONTINUING ITS B.S. DRAMA!! Look I get that Lebron James has earned his keep as one of the best players in the NBA and maybe of all time, HOWEVER an hour long special to announce he is going to Miami? MIAMI?! Really? WTF? Wake up it is the first of the month! It is March which means only three more months of winter in Chicago (insert a wink and nudge here). The forecast looks promising maybe we will hit the 50's by mid-March? This weekend was great as the lady and I were able to catch friends perform in Midsummer's Nights Dream. Followed by a lovely round of drinks at a Lincoln Park spot. The gold medal hockey game between USA and Canada was fantastic. Honestly one of the most exciting and hardest played games I have seen. It was Canada's to lose and I couldn't be prouder of the gritty performance the USA team put in. Valiant and full of heart just came up a little short. The Olympics came to a whack ass conclusion , but overall we broke the medal record . Conan will rule late night ! I must say not only was it impressively funny and vintage Conan, but Will Ferrell was hilarious and Pearl Jam (despite sound issues WHY CAN'T THEY FIGURE THAT OUT ) rocked. The return of sidekick Andy was fantastic as well. I must say I was never truly a fan of Jay. He had a nice way with people, but his skits, sidewalk talk and monologues were hokey and full of hack jokes. I know Conan is guilty of this too at times, but I am leaning that Late Night will allow him to really run with it. That's it for now....more later probably.
