 I'm smiling. The Blue Wave turned out to be a Blue Tsunami. Texas is Blue. Yes, I said that. Enjoy the moment. We worked hard for this. Last night was a repudiation of a fascist/authoratarian government run by Trump. It was a big fuck you to Republicans who will certainly not learn their lesson. And now Democrats have a mandate. Investigations on day one. Lean on this. Get shit done. Our job is to keep pressuring the party to do the right thing. The rest of America agrees. 

Here are your highlights: 

Governors made history last night. 

Huh about that. Dow surges after Dems win. 

TRANSPHOBIA LOSES. Alabama elects first transgender legislator to its House. 

CVS to break into two companies. 

The other biggest losers last night were the Tech Oligarchs. 

One thing I hope the media catches on to is that Trump has been a cancer. They love him, so I doubt they reflect it, but it's clear now the country hates him. MAGA is toxic, and the country finally caught up to that fact. The Republican Party is in disarray. Mike Johnson is a loser. Trump is a loser. That's their legacy. Never let them off the hook.

 The World Cup continues today. I wrote about this before, but it's really fucked up that every four years we're reminded of how racism is still rampant in the world . Kylian Mbappé shouldn't have to make a statement every single time. Yet he does with grace and eloquence. There are few sports stars with his ability to convey kindness.
