Get Your Dunkin' Monday

 We had a lovely meeting of like-minded liberal folks yesterday. We're a small group of progressives in our small town, but it's always nice to chat and figure out how we can effect change. One pressing issue is data centers. No one likes them. Not even die-hard MAGA folks. A town near us had some shady dealings and might get a large data center soon. It's causing quite the fuss. I don't think officials realize how much data centers piss people off. AI for what? 

Here are your highlights: 

Trump names Jay Clayton as new AI Czar. "Super intelligence" guy with no super intelligence. 

This sounds familiar. Russian researcher dies of plague, shutting down several hospitals. 

SCOTUS back in session. It'll be interesting to see how they deny climate change. 

China is shrinking its banks. 

The Iran War is leaving soldiers to fend for themselves. 

The Ethiopian war is escalating, causing alarm across Africa.

Get Your Dunkin' Friday

I had to take the day off yesterday. Had an MRI; it turned out okay, so that was a relief. My doctor prescribed me stronger meds, which are working. Take your health seriously.  Here are your highlights:   NASA is about to launch a new telescope into space .  The police want to spy on you daily. They're spending funds on more Flock cameras .  "Illegal and baseless." Judge calls out the Pentagon for their attacks on Anthropic.  Climate change affects those with less. Gary, Indiana its latest victim .  The Natalie Harp stuff gets worse. This election cycle should be fairly simple for Dems. Gas prices up! While Trump destroys the White House. Food prices up! While Trump says he's renaming Lake Ontario . Rinse repeat. We've got serious issues, and we've got serious solutions. Trump and Republicans would rather slap his name on the Kennedy Center than help you. I am Frank Chow, and I approve this message.
