 The Illini fell short. It was a battle, and despite their abysmal three-point shooting, they fought until the end. It was quite the run. The town was ablaze. Rooting for this team was easy. Young star in the making, an NBA All-Star's kid, a transfer from my alma mater, and a local kid. It was fun to watch, share in their achievements, and believe the impossible could happen.
