 I know some of you weren't around during the 90s, but recent political events, political violence, and economic uncertainty remind me a little bit of the 90s, albeit with the added influence of social media. Which is way worse! The amount of lies that sprang up after the murder of Charlie Kirk. The amount of misinformation from the FBI. The amount of violent foaming at the mouth shit from the Right. It's all familiar. This time, the internet makes it move a million times faster to the dumbest people in the world. My worry is that the escalation will be worse than Oklahoma City. 

Here are your highlights: 

Donald Trump sues the NYT. I'm laughing, it's dangerous, HOWEVER, the NYT has done so much to carry water for Trump, and now look. You played yourself. 

Charter schools are bad. Texas charter schools are awful and a scam. 

JD Vance went on the Charlie Kirk podcast and fomented more violence. Totally normal thing for a sitting Vice President to do. 

We still can't spot deep fakes. AI is making it even more difficult. 

Genocide on the ground as Israel hits the dirt. 

Meta's AI-powered Smart Glasses are stupid. Period.
