Get Your Dunkin' Thursday

 Okay, so having a broken rib sucks. I'm lucky it's not multiple. I can't get over how it feels when I move. Yuck.

 The sun is out and so everyone here is happier. Weird how that works. I never cared so much about the weather until we moved back to Illinois. Tornado season is coming. We only had a few scares last year. I'm hoping it's the same this year. 

Here are your highlights:

10 Democrats voted to censure Rep. Al Green. Primary every single one of them. 

DOGE is here. DOGE plans to close six locations in Central Illinois. Again, none of this is legal, yet everyone is acting like it's normal. This is like throwing a pebble in the ocean. Just tax the rich.

Canadians are canceling trips to the US. Good for them. 

Climate Change is real. We see the effects daily across the globe. And yet Republicans are still in denial.

China states it's ready for any kind of war - this is beyond alarming.

We need less from the Elissa Slotkins of the Democratic Party. Centrist gobbley gook does us no good when trying to fight fascism.

Ch ch Changes

I think this place needs a makeover or I might archive the whole thing. I post thoughts to Twitter mostly these days and haven't had any time to maintain this space with long-form writing as intended. The political world right now is a total shit show. Trump is a disaster. The Dems have an NFL roster running for president. Climate Change is going to crush the planet and we're busy yelling at each other while getting nothing done. And I keep getting this eery feeling a recession is headed our way...woohoo! In personal news, we just added another addition to the Chow family, a little girl, and I got Dad life to hone in on...two is a welcomed challenge. Any advice for two kid life, let me know!
