The Walking Dead Tonight!

At least it premieres tonight , I'm making cheese dip. That Redskins game was god awful. They are lucky there is an upcoming bye week. Chow!

Redskins Sunday

It's gonna be another busy day in Chicago. We have to hit up Trader Joe's, do some fall cleaning, Redskins game and then tonight we're having friends over for the Walking Dead premiere. In between all of that I'm going to try to edit down the material from the second episode of the Trans-Atlantic Throwdow n. Paddy K and I talked for over two hours (we lost track of time) and can't wait to share the hilarity, discussion and music with everyone. Redskins v Lions quick analysis . First of all we aren't great on turf ie the Rams game. Second the Lions handed us an embarrassing loss last year NOT COOL, it's time for revenge. Third, if Orapko and the defense get to Stafford the game hopefully will swing our way like last week...with less ugliness. Let's hope McNabb finds his groove soon and one of our receivers steps up. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!! I am Frank Chow and I approved this message P.S. Yoshi's was aaamaaaazzzzinnng.

Steve Yeun: Glenn in the Walking Dead

Game Trailers - E3 2011 - Movies and TV Asians in bad ass stuff! Great interview of Steve Yeun on Attack of the Show, Yeun will be playing Glenn in the Walking Dead . I am a big fan of this series and glad to see what looks to be a great choice for Glenn (a non-stereotypical Asian character). The Walking Dead premieres on AMC October 31st . I can't wait. Break from Boredom

I am pretty much the Walking Dead today. I drank a little too liberally last night, combine that with the meds and I am a zombie. Speaking of zombies, this opening fan credits sequence for the upcoming Walking Dead series is phenomenal ( Daniel Kanemoto is brilliant!). If the opening is anything close to this beautiful artistry I will be glued to the teevee. THE WALKING DEAD "Opening Titles" from Daniel Kanemoto on Vimeo . Straight from the pages and a thing of beauty. I am planning on sitting at home, turning off all the lights, lighting a candle and drinking some gin for each episode. It premieres 9pm Central, October 31st on AMC . Chow!

Nothing Says Fourth of July Like

The Walking Dead . I just picked up the first two trades of The Walking Dead series. I have heard nothing, but rave reviews about it and although I am about seven years late I can't wait to read it. The lady normally drives like a banshee, so as a means of distraction I am hoping The Walking Dead will suffice for the more hairier bits of the ride. Evanston is gorgeous at the time being. There is a slight breeze, people are genuinely in a good mood and the sounds of the town are pleasant. I took a short walk to check out the local stores and almost pulled the trigger on a new American Apparel tee shirt. I decided on comics instead obviously, but I find my walks to be more enjoyable now that I am in better shape. I don't mind going farther. I have the energy to do it and I don't find myself taking shortcuts as much. All in all this lifestyle change has been a solid choice. Week two of Insanity is almost done. The second "fit test" is on Monday, I am sure I won't...
