 Local Democrats are fighting the good fight. I have a friend on the ground in Minneapolis, and neighbors are showing up for neighbors. The whistles are really getting to the ICE agents, as we've heard from Homan and others. Whistles, these guys are the biggest snowflakes. It's difficult not to laugh and mock them. I don't expect a full withdrawal of his ICE goons.  We made it to the end of the week. I'm not sure why, but this was the longest week. Being back at work, being back in the grind, the commute, for some reason, this year, this week, was a slog. I'm exhausted. It doesn't help that we started this year with war, murder, and corruption. It's week one. A friend had a conversation the other day in which she had to remind someone that we have 3 years left of Trump. The person seemed shocked. I know I'm terminally online, but it's a marathon.  I'm a little late today. Transitioning back to work after a couple of weeks off is difficult. The holiday was lovely, and our girls enjoyed time with their grandpa. Saturday, I woke up and knew something was wrong. My dad was glued to the TV, and the volume was only something grandparents could tolerate. Trump had done what we knew he would do: Venezuela.
