Our Liberal Media

Everything that is wrong with our media and the Associate Press in one opening sentence:

Tapping into anger as the tea party movement has done, a coalition of progressive and civil rights groups marched Saturday on the Lincoln Memorial and pledged to support Democrats struggling to keep power on Capitol Hill.

This is how they describe a rally for jobs and civil rights in America. It begins with slop about the teabaggers who if they were anything of a real movement (the press and nutroots claims they are) they would be attending a rally for jobs. They would be side by side with their fellow Americans marching for civil rights. Isn't that what they are about? The economy? Concerned with real issues for real Americans? Our unemployment rate still hovers at 10%, so wouldn't the tea part movement, this very serious organized group of non-racist activists be at Capitol Hill today? No they are not because they are puppets of the corporations the progressives are rallying against. They are the fringe within the Republican party and our oh so lamestream librul media doesn't have the cajones to call a spade a spade.

It's just like a sad high school crush on the quarterback. AP wants the tea party movement to know soooo bad they are like the hottest, most awesomest group in America. So AP punches hippies who are actually trying to change this country for the better. While so many us of struggle to get by....LIBERAL MEDIA!!! SOCIALISM!!! This is what constitutes journalism? If only Ed Schultz had said Obama "had a deep seeded hatred for white people." Then AP might actually have reported about the rally with some sort of seriousness.
