Half way through the week and I am beginning to walk a bit better. I am not sure, however if it is the prescriptions the doctor gave me or of my own volition. Regardless I will still be rendered useless at this weekend's wedding, sorry ladies, no MJ impression or Usher like moves from Frank. I am sitting and sipping all weekend. So it seems the theme this week around the news cycle is that the Dems are to blame for constant GOP obstruction. The latest move of anti-democracy being the block of the motion to debate the military appropriations bill that included the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. Good to know the GOP still hates teh gay so much they won't fund the pew pew. Till the election we will now be bombarded with "Obama didn't use the bully pulpit","Democrats are spineless", "Republicans surge to protect America from socialism!" And other assorted misconstrued nonsense, but one thing I would have liked to have seen... Lady Gaga doing an impromptu fuggin concert on the steps of Capitol Hill in protest. That would made the Salahis look like the amateurs they are and maybe restored hope in this foolish political landscape.
