Think Tank
From the Rachel Maddow blog:
"I argue for being conscious, but perfectionism is an enemy of progress."
-Michael Pollan, healthy eating advocate, in the new Newsweek article on class and eating habits.
This stood out to me not only because I know Michael Pollan is popular with a lot of TRMS viewers, but because Jon Stewart re-aired his interview with President Obama last night and it sounds very similar the president's plea that progressives focus on what's getting done instead of what's not getting done. I'm not arguing against progressives who are frustrated with Mr. Obama, but "perfectionism is an enemy of progress" is an interesting idea to debate.
