Get Your Dunkin Thursday - Blackhawk Edition

HAWKS WIN THE STANLEY CUP!!! I am still on a natural high while lacking sufficient sleep. Everyone in the city is aglow. It is a great feeling watching a team grow up over a season and win the coveted Stanley Cup. The streets were filled with people. The bars of course were packed. This city needed something to be elated about it and we certainly have that in the Chicago Blackhawks. So in honor of our new Champions this Dunkin is completely and utterly dedicated to the Chicago Blackhawks, Stanley Cup Champions. *That will never get old.

The guys at Committed Indian are feeling great. The best place to follow the Hawks for Hawks fans run by the fans themselves.

The plane flight home had a water-salute greeting party when the champs landed.

Boys will be boys. The young guns of the Hawks were seen getting off the plane and heading out to party at Harry Caray's and the Pony.

It was an OT barn burner. Kane with the goal that everyone barely saw.

A toast to the MVP

The journey has been long and hard fought. When I first moved to Chicago I could get in a Blackhawks game whenever I pleased. The Hawks were abysmal and yet you had to love the posters of Kane and Toews when the new wave came in. It seemed odd to talk up the future of the Hawks and then in a short time, they were in the playoffs. And now sooner than expected they are the Stanley Cup Champs. Rocky Wirtz did a heck of a job and the city of Chicago is forever grateful for the team he put together. Man you gotta love this city. Go Hawks!
