Get Your Dunkin' Thursday
Hellooooooo Thursday, today is one year for me and my lady. Fantastic! Woohoo for me! Woohoo for her cuz this guy is 6'1" of awesome ninjatastic Asian-American maleicity. Tonight we will be dining at one of our favorite places in Chicago, so if the paparazzi comes around I will slice and dice! Let us be! Speaking of which Speidi needs to jump. Seriously. Chicago is a cool 50 degrees today, FUGG YOU NEVADA!!
Here are your highlights:
Tiananmen Remembered: audio, pictures, and student accounts
RIP David Carradine h/t Bob Cesca. I understand that over the years the Asian community held a bitter pill with his role in Kung Fu and the story of Bruce Lee, but one thing I always respected was how he never seemed to play a stereotype. I think it was more a sign of the times than Carradine himself that he received the role in Kung Fu. Regardless in Kill Bill, the man was perfect and he will be missed.
Does anybody really want to EAT A FILIPINO?!!! What the fugg is with these people? Cannibalism and racism is not funny in any way.
Another IPod....yay....
When you run out of viable critiques and have no real answers, you continue gasbaggery
"We are not at war with Islam"
In Chicago it smells of stink, that stink is Daley
MedPAC, WHAT ARE YOU? An interesting look into health care, this is something we have to get done. It is getting worse each day. Of course the opposition will tell you these people are irresponsible:
"Using a conservative definition, 62.1 percent of all bankruptcies in 2007 were medical; 92 percent of these medical debtors had medical debts over $5,000, or 10 percent of pretax family income," the researchers wrote.
"Most medical debtors were well-educated, owned homes and had middle-class occupations."
The researchers, whose work was paid for by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, said the share of bankruptcies that could be blamed on medical problems rose by 50 percent from 2001 to 2007.
Chow!
