Get Your Dunkin Thursday

Well the week is almost over. It's always the week after holidays that are the worst to come back to...or at least that's what I tell myself. The lady and I think weekend are enjoying our 2 year 6 months mark. I know it doesn't seem like a long time, but to us it is sentimental. We've both never been in a relationship this good for this long. Hooray for us! We're hitting up Cafe Laguardia, doing some Xmas shopping and cleaning...somewhere in there I'm sneaking in the next episode of the Trans-Atlantic Throwdown.

Here are your highlights:

FCC eviscerating net neutrality with the help of Google and Verizon

Call to Action! Dream Act is on the table, call Congress

Daley's last hurrah, a brand new ecological park

Wonkish: Unemployment numbers explained. Still not encouraging still not doing enough

Citizen Radio has two great interviews with Bertha Lewis (former head of ACORN) and William Ayers

The Republican Party is still using the same old tactics; no, no, and no! As Andrew Sullivan points out the party has taken an extreme turn and Steve M points out a huge shift has to take place in our media and discourse for the party to change. It's not likely to happen anytime soon.

Chow!
